CNC Plasma Cutting
CNC plasma cutting systems are used to cut profiles from flat sheets of metal. The head that holds the plasma cutter is precisely moved around the cutting table giving extremely accurate part cuts. In most cases parts can be cut with tolerances in the +/- 0.005 inch range.
In addition to cutting metal profiles, the head can be outfitted with a Roto-zip saw and used to cut non-metals such as plastic, wood, or rigid foam profiles.
DXF CAD files can be imported directly into the CAM software however if CAD files are not available any image can be traced and converted to cut paths within the program.
